My Newbies From Topshop Beauty

I genuinely think that Topshop is one of the most underrated brands in the beauty community. I have a few items including highlighters and eyeshadows from them already and then they stopped doing beauty products for a little while as I believe they were rebranding and I must say - I am digging the new packaging, everything is so slick and minimal, which is the type of packaging I prefer.

I had high hopes for this foundation as I saw it quite a lot on AnnieCherrys stories of her saying it's one of her faves so if Annie recommends it, you know it's gonna be good. You know what, she wasn't lying! First of all the packaging is beaut as it's in a simple glass bottle with a pump. The formula is a soft semi matte and lightweight, it's not completely full coverage but it's buildable so it lets your skin breathe still. In terms of longevity, it does well! I wouldn't say it lasts ALL day if you have any oily skin type like me but it holds well for a fair few hours, I say I usually get oily after about 7 hours which is still really good!

Excuse my dodgy natural brows but just to show the coverage, the left side is with foundation and the right side is my natural skin

I've been after a really nice everyday nude lipstick and I thought I had found it until I tried this..... As you can see from my picture below, this lipstick is horrible. It's very sheer so you have to apply quite a lot to even look like you have lipstick on (I know I wanted a nude but you'll understand what I mean if you were to try this) and it literally shows every crack and dry patch on my lips despite putting lip balm on just moments before! I'm not going to let this rule out the lipsticks from Topshop but I'm not a fan of this formula, I was expecting it to be like the Creme sheer ones from MAC but it just didn't work for me.

You know I'm a sucker for a lipgloss and I LOVE the chameleon range from Topshop, everything is so iridescently beautiful and this gloss just shows that. The shade has an icy pink tone to it with glitter reflects so it literally looks like you have diamonds on the lips. It would make a great lip topper too! I definitely will purchase some more from this range as the formula is very long wearing due to it being not too sticky and overall feels of good quality.

Overall, I really think you're missing out if you've not tried any make up products from Topshop yet. The foundation was definitely my favourite and is a product that I will get a lot of use from. I was trying to get hold of the blurring primer too but they had none in stock in my local store but when I do eventually get hold of it, I'll give you an update. I would also recommend the glosses and the highlighters too (I have got a blogpost featuring some of the highlighters I bought over a year ago here).

Let me know if you have any other product recommendations from Topshop or any other high street fashion store, I know H&M and New Look have make up products but I've yet to try them!

Love Chelsea xo
