My Own Collaboration With Beautonomy

Yes, you heard that right... I have my very own collab with Beautonomy and I couldn't be more happier! If you didn't already know, Beautonomy are a brand where you can create and personalise your own palettes or you can still buy one that they have already made. I think the concept of this is great because you can literally tailor every aspect of the product from front cover printing to the shades, formulas and even the shade names.

Beautonomy approached me to create a few of my very own palettes for you lovely lot to purchase (if you want to of course). I've not tried this brand before but I had seen them pop up quite a lot on adverts and on Instagram so I thought why not. I was a little sceptical as I really wanted to test the shadows out before advertising them and I was....IMPRESSED! The glitters are literally amazing, some of the mattes are so bold and pigmented - especially the reds/pinks. I must admit, some of the mattes aren't as pigmented as others (for example the purple and blues in the Purple Reign palette) but each and every shade is buildable as well as blends out really softly and seamlessly.

*I've linked each palette to my shop on Beautonomy. These products were gifted to me and each link is an affiliate link which means I receive a small percentage if you purchase*

Envy features 6 eyeshadows, a mixture of three mattes and three shimmer shades that I feel despite being only 6 eyeshadows, it's a very versatile palette. This was the first lot of shade range that popped into my head. I love green shadows and I feel like it's an eyeshadow that isn't bought out enough in palettes. Why? I'm not sure as it goes well with orange and brown tones and everyone always drools over a warm toned palette. I love pairing green with those orange and brown shades so if you're the same then this palette is for you!

Emerald - Green with silver reflects
Pumpkin - Burnt orange matte - perfect for transitioning
Spice - Muted brown matte - perfect for adding depth into your crease
Milk - Icy white shimmer - perfect for that brow bone/inner corner highlight
Ginger - Blood orange
Minty Fresh - Mint green shimmer

This is the largest palette of the bunch as it features 8 shades and a mixture of mattes, shimmers and glitters. It is also the palette for people who want to stray away from the usual warm toned shadows and want to venture into a bit of colour. I will be honest with you, some of the mattes aren't as pigmented as some of the pans in the other palettes - for example Prin and Blue Moon - however I find that slightly easier as they are very buildable, they blend really softly and they do not just blend into a muddy brown colour. Can we talk about the glitters?? Because baby I was soooo pleased with those! Shine Bright and Galaxy are literally AMAZING and very pigmented, like insane. Those swatches were with NO nyx glitter glue or plouise base - which is what I usually use for my eyes, how beaut.

Lemon - Pale yellow with a silver shimmer
Rose Gold - Pink with gold glitter
Prin - Lilac matte
Blue Moon - Pompey blue matte
Purple Fever - Purple with silver reflects shimmer
Maroon 5 - Maroon matte
Shine Bright - Silver glitter
Galaxy - Midnight blue glitter

Now, with valentines day just around the corner - I couldn't miss the opportunity to create something inspired by it. Be my valentine consists of six shades - three mattes, two shimmers and a glitter. Who doesn't love a pink palette? I seem to be drawn to pinks quite a lot lately and I feel like it is a shade that brings out any eye colour, even if it is just a pop of it in the waterline.

Sherbert - Coral pink with gold reflects
Vanilla Dream - White gold - perfect for brow bone highlighter
Strawbs - Bright Red
Peaches - Peach - perfect for a transition colour
Candy - Hot pink
Cherry Lips - Dark pink with silver glitter

I love love love this colour combo and I feel like you can create some really pretty looks with this whether you want a matter or glitter finish. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate Strawbs and Candy?? They are some pigmented mattes that blend so softly!

Why not test out some of the shades in a valentines inspired look for you? For the look below I used: Peaches, Candy, Strawbs, Cherry Lips from the Be my Valentine and Milk and Spice from Envy.

Overall, I would love your opinions on these! I chose the design for each one which I love and I'm really happy with the shades I picked for each palette. Please make sure you let me know if you do end up either buying one from my range or from the website if you create your own as I'd love to check out your designs too.

Thank you for reading, love Chelsea xo
